Bonni Burns

Bonni is the Founder & President of Burns & Associates Management, which represents over 30 local and national clients in a variety of marketing roles. Bonni is an expert in marketing strategic planning and media negotiations and she handles those roles for all of BAM’s clients. Her team acts as an extension of her clients’ marketing department.

Bonni has over 30 years of experience in the broadcasting and media industry. She successfully launched a UPN Network television station in St. Louis, MO which was awarded the most successful launch in the network’s history. Bonni spent 15 years managing FOX and ABC network TV affiliate local sales efforts, which included managing advertising inventory and rates.

Prior to local broadcasting, Bonni worked for seven years as a national media sales representative in the St. Louis and Chicago markets negotiating media buys for major companies such as Anheuser Busch, Ford Motor Company, Monsanto, and AT&T, just to name a few, in all 200+ U.S. media markets. Bonni remains in the top 3% of women in the country to hold the position of Chief Operating Officer in the broadcasting business.

Bonni currently serves on the board of three major Southwest Illinois organizations:  VP of Marketing on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts Lewis & Clark Council, Marketing Chair for The United Way (SW IL Tri-Cities), and a board member of Beverly Farm Foundation. She and her husband Kent reside in Edwardsville, Illinois.
