Bonni Burns

Bonni Burns

President

Bonni is the Founder & President of Burns & Associates Management, which represents over 30 local and national clients in a variety of marketing roles. Bonni is an expert in marketing strategic planning and media negotiations and she handles those roles for all of BAM’s clients. Her team acts as an extension of her clients’ marketing department.

Bonni has over 30 years of experience in the broadcasting and media industry. She successfully launched a UPN Network television station in St. Louis, MO which was awarded the most successful launch in the network’s history. Bonni spent 15 years managing FOX and ABC network TV affiliate local sales efforts, which included managing advertising inventory and rates.

Prior to local broadcasting, Bonni worked for seven years as a national media sales representative in the St. Louis and Chicago markets negotiating media buys for major companies such as Anheuser Busch, Ford Motor Company, Monsanto, and AT&T, just to name a few, in all 200+ U.S. media markets. Bonni remains in the top 3% of women in the country to hold the position of Chief Operating Officer in the broadcasting business.

Bonni currently serves on the board of three major Southwest Illinois organizations:  VP of Marketing on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts Lewis & Clark Council, Marketing Chair for The United Way (SW IL Tri-Cities), and a board member of Beverly Farm Foundation. She and her husband Kent reside in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Senior Account Manager

Kate works diligently for BAM’s clients, executing marketing plans and collaborating with clients and the BAM team to create one-of-a-kind marketing campaigns and effective strategies. What she enjoys most is the feeling of being an extension of the client’s marketing team and celebrating in her clients’ successes along the way.

Kate has more than 10 years of marketing experience, the majority of it in the healthcare industry. She spent seven years as the Director of Public Relations & Marketing at Gateway Regional Medical Center, as well as two years in the financial services industry where she was instrumental in creating the brand of a new firm, Visionary Wealth Advisors.

Kate has experience in strategic planning, marketing campaign design and execution, social media, website creation, public relations and event planning.

Kate earned a Master of Business Administration from Argosy University in 2012. She attended Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, where she played basketball and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.

Kate and her husband, Mark, live in Edwardsville. They enjoy swimming and playing golf with their two sons and spending time with friends and family. They are partners and active supporters of Mark’s brother’s organization, Matthew Allaria Ministries. Kate also serves as Director of the annual gala benefit for Allison’s HOPE, a charity that supports research and experimental cancer treatments at Mary Crowley Cancer Research Centers.

Courtney Longhi

Media Manager/Account Manager

Courtney works closely with clients on a day to day basis to complete various projects. She also works closely with the media while planning and executing marketing strategies for BAM’s clients, making sure executions match the campaigns strategic plan and budget. She also ensures the correct creative is playing and keeps up to date with media trends.

Courtney loves seeing her clients’ reaction to the results of a BAM marketing campaign, as well as their excitement about the new ideas and advertising we create for them. She has been at BAM for over three years. Before starting full-time with BAM, she worked here as an intern while earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Lindenwood University.

Courtney has extensive training and knowledge around media buying and strategy. She worked under BAM founder Bonni Burns, who has mentored her through the media process.
Courtney lives in Maryville, Illinois with her husband, Jordan, who is BAM’s Digital Manager. She attended Edwardsville High School and played on the golf team there, which she continues to enjoy as a hobby. Courtney and Jordan love to travel, learn about other cultures and see different parts of the world. Like a typical girl, she enjoys shopping in her free time!

Jessica Williams

Public Relations Specialist / Account Manager

As BAM’S Public Relations Specialist/Account Manager, Jessica focuses on generating positive media coverage for BAM’s clients and finding creative ways to make their brand stand out. In addition to working on conceptual ideas and written content, Jessica also writes and edits stories for various clients’ social media campaigns.

Jessica came to BAM after working five years as a broadcast journalist at local CBS affiliate stations. In addition to anchoring the news, she wrote, edited and helped with the overall creative production of the newscast. Her experience working with many different types of businesses and personalities has cultivated her love of constantly learning something new.

Jessica attended school at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism. While in school, Jessica was a Varsity Illini Cheerleader and spent eight semesters interning for a local TV station. She also spent one summer as an intern at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jessica and her husband Kent currently live in Edwardsville, IL. They have four children (one set of identical twin boys) and a dog. Her husband is a basketball coach at SIU Edwardsville, so naturally, she goes to a lot of ball games. She also loves biking with her family and reading when she has time!

Renee Kennison

Concept Development

Renee is clever and creative. She provides concept development and branding campaigns for our clients, including writing radio and TV spots and occasionally produces them. She enjoys learning our clients’ businesses and providing solutions that work for them.

Renee has extensive experience in marketing for all kinds of clients and brands: Purina ONE, Wonder Bread, McDonald’s, First Clover Leaf Bank, St. John’s Mercy, Gateway Regional Medical Center, West County Mall, Shoe Carnival, Hostess Cakes, Eveready Battery, Sapaugh GM Country, just to name a few!

Renee’s expertise is in the creative concept process; creative development, copywriting, web development, TV and radio production. Renee earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She lives in St. Charles, Missouri and has four grown children. She enjoys spending her free time with other creative endeavors, such as inventing, buying and refinishing furniture for resale, and solving the world’s problems.

Tim Patek

Group Creative Services

Tim creates graphic themes, looks, logos and sometimes copywriting that best represent BAM’s clients’ needs. From there, he designs outdoor boards, print ads, direct mail pieces, web banners and TV graphics for specific promotions. Tim tries to be “game ready” for whatever challenge the day may bring. He enjoys working with clients, accepting their challenge and giving them a product they can be proud of.

Tim brings more than 30 years of experience to BAM, including small agency, large agency and freelance work. He has worked in a wide array of industries, including beer, soft drink, racing teams, Clydesdales, bull riders, LPGA golfers, car dealerships, restaurants, financial institutions and more!

Tim loves working in Photoshop and creating digital paintings, as well as using Adobe Illustrator, exploring the world of design and vector art. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design with a minor in Photography from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Tim lives in Troy, Illinois with his wife, Sherri. They have three young adult children – one daughter and two sons, plus a dog. They love going to the beach, are very active in sports and enjoy visiting various restaurants. The best time according to Tim is when the whole family is on the same schedule and able to spend quality time together.

Creative Director

Jessica’s role at BAM is to provide clients with a visual and creative solution to their marketing needs. She is always challenging herself and never fears diving into something new. Her skills include, but are definitely not limited to, conceptualizing ad campaigns, website design, layout of anything from small ads to corporate annual reports, environmental graphics, logos and much more. Jessica’s expertise is in graphic design and creative direction and she loves to see the end result of the marketing process, especially the reactions of the clients when they have met their goals.

Jessica was raised in a very artistic family. She has worked in the creative field since 1998 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She joined BAM in July 2013.

Jessica lives in Crestwood, Missouri. She and her husband, Harry, are the proud parents to two sons and a daughter. She also has a very old cat and an untrained dog. She spends her free time cleaning the house and keeping up with the kid’s homework, but would LIKE to spend her free time expanding her world travel destinations, or at least more U.S. cities when she can.

Jordan Longhi

Digital Manager

Jordan specializes in the digital aspect of marketing – creating and executing our clients’ digital strategies. On a day-to-day basis, he monitors various online platforms to make sure advertisements are performing as expected. He also monitors and develops social media strategies. He works proactively to present new opportunities to our clients. Jordan enjoys the diversity of BAM’s clients and getting to see many different industry verticals in action.

Jordan has more than five years of experience executing digital marketing strategies and has been with BAM since October 2014. Prior to marketing, he worked for Stifel, an investment banking firm, improving their trading systems for over 2,000 advisors. Jordan enjoys the digital strategy aspect of marketing because it is always evolving. Each day, he researches new strategies, new social media sites, and the ever-changing landscape of the industry.

Jordan graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Finance. He grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois and now he and his wife, Courtney, who is BAM’s Media Manager, live in Maryville, Illinois. In their free time, they enjoy Netflix marathons, great wine and traveling to many wonderful places.

Colleen Reagan

Colleen Reagan

Social Media Manager

Colleen provides integral support to BAM’s account managers on a daily basis, as well as running the operations of the office. She processes all media invoices for BAM clients, and manages the accounts payable and receivables for all advertising campaigns. Colleen also serves as the BAM Social Media Manager. She executes clients’ social media strategies and maintains their websites. Colleen loves seeing the growth and success of BAM’s clients and enjoys knowing she was able to contribute.

Colleen joined BAM in 2013 and has flourished in her role, gaining knowledge of social media and advertising along the way. Before joining BAM, Colleen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Avila University in Kansas City with a double concentration in Public Relations & Advertising and Film & Digital Media. She attended Avila on a soccer scholarship and served three years as team captain.

Colleen lives in St. Louis and attended Notre Dame High School. She is always the one in the group smiling and laughing! Colleen loves family, friends, food, movies and having fun. She enjoys playing soccer, basketball and golf and is currently the assistant coach of Notre Dame High School’s Junior Varsity soccer team. Colleen’s words to live by are, “Live the life you love, love the life you live!”

Adam Chatman

Account Coordinator

Adam’s role at BAM is the vital support of the Account Managers in providing top-quality marketing services to clients. He performs research, copy writing, monitoring of social media accounts and much more. Adam has been a life-long team player, with a history of playing sports and working for a collective goal, and he enjoys the team approach BAM takes in working with clients.

Adam has spent two summers interning at BAM and joined our team full time in June 2016. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Strategic Communications (Advertising & Marketing) and a minor in Business, from MIZZOU.

Adam is a resident of Ballwin, MO and attended Marquette High School. Adam and his family have moved all across the country and even the world as a result of his father’s military career. Before the age of 9, Adam had already lived in 9 different states! He spends his free time attending MIZZOU games, as well as the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues and Rams, playing sports and hanging out with friends and family.

Brett Halbe

Account Coordinator

Brett works with all of BAM’s account managers to provide support on multiple projects, for most of our clients. He performs research, acts as a production assistant on TV shoots, and does other miscellaneous tasks.

Brett joined BAM in January of 2017, right after graduating from college. He is training to work in business development to further BAM’s growth. Brett loves learning new things and is excited to start and grow with such a great company!

Brett graduated from University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He was the captain of the USA Men’s Rugby Team, which gave him experience in teamwork and dedication. He served on the administrative side of the team as President of the Rugby Club in 2013 & 2014. He also held a management position at a local Mobile, Alabama restaurant.

Brett graduated from Edwardsville High School in 2011. He and his new fiancé, Savannah, and their two dogs, have just moved to a house in Alton, Illinois.
